There are three designations of MDRT membership.
- Entry Membership (MDRT),
- Court of the Table (COT) and
- Top of the Table (TOT).
Set out below is the MDRT membership requirements that have been expressed in Australian dollars. Production credits must be reported in US dollars on Certifying Letters.

These production figures are based on New Business submitted and completed in the 2014 Unlimited Credits on Life and Superannuation Business with Limited Credits on Securities Business (Managed Funds).
*You also need to be a member of a professional services association such as the AFA or FPA to be a member.
#A minimum of $64,150 of paid commissions must come from products listed in the Unlimited Credit category.
^A minimum of $128,300 of premium credit must come from products listed in the Unlimited Credit category.
+A minimum of $64,150 must be income from new business and a further $64,150 must be derived from income associated with risk-protection products.
